BOOK REVIEW : THE AGELESS SECRETS

I am an avid reader of self-help books. The wealth of information found in these books is great and useful for anyone looking to improve themselves. However, a lot of books consist of rehashed material and offer nothing new to a regular reader like myself. That said, I have taken it upon myself to write reviews for several books I have read recently, in order to give people a guide on what books are worth their money and which ones should be avoided.
The latest book I read is The Ageless Secrets, by Chris D’Cruz. As the title suggests, this book contains a great amount of information on increasing your lifespan and improving the general state of your health.

As a self-help book, The Ageless Secrets fills a pretty small niche. Most other books give general guides on being, eating and living healthy, but D’Cruz instead provides specific information on living longer. He begins by giving historical information on how people from ancient times have managed to live over a century, despite the poorer, less-sophisticated healthcare.
Surprisingly, the information he provides is factual and accurate – he isn’t just spinning stories to prove his case. He goes on to unravel the mystery of how these people managed to achieve their longevity – typically due to a combination of diet, lifestyle and exercise. He also delves into more esoteric and ‘mystical’ arts that originate from the ancient Chinese empire, and gives the readers a primer on how they can make use of these secrets for their own benefit.

The Ageless Secrets provides more specialized information on generally being healthier and feeling better, information that I have yet to find elsewhere. Several of the concepts and techniques presented in this book are unique and have not been replicated in other books. The information is also presented in a simple and concise manner and is very easy to  implement into your daily routine.
Beyond the primary e-book, The Ageless Secrets program also consists of several smaller supplements on improving your energy levels (using the classic systems of yoga, chakra meditation and tai chi, amongst others), improving your body’s self-healing capabilities and achieving the much sought after ‘eternal youth’. These other materials, provide a very useful supplement to the main e-book, as it gives comprehensive details on how to maximize each exercise – for instance, it gives a step-by-step breakdown on how to do proper chakra meditation as well as explaining how the chakra system works.

The Ageless Secrets program promises much, but it also delivers just as much. Just from the initial exercises and dietary habits it suggests, I began to feel healthier, more energetic and alert – and only after a week. Unlike typical health manuals, The Ageless Secrets has more pronounced, immediate effect and it doesn’t take too much effort to get into. A lot of the exercise and diet changes it suggest can be implemented in your life in a matter of days and is designed to fit into any schedule.
In short, I heartily suggest picking up this book for yourself. The benefits of improved health and increased energy will give you a fresh outlook at life completely revitalize you. pick it up now, while Chris D’Cruz still has it at an affordable price.

HAPPY FATHER's DAY ( MONTH)

Have there Been Times When You Experienced Loss in Your Life??? From the beginning I have not known my biological parents... They Lost Me not me losing them... I grew up with several aunties and a "GrandMa" who took the place of 'Mother" in my life... With a cousin who I had considered as "ATE" as she is now everybody's Ate Rosie... and as for a Father I have No Tatay but a DADDY !!! --- (Social Huh???) Yes, How so Special I felt in that way that my playmates call their father "Tatay" while I call the Father figure in my life "DADDY" ... the fact that he is with some speech defect and had not graduated from any university did not deminish him in any way as he had been such a protective and loving Daddy to me < he was so upset when upon coming home he found me crying out inside a sack ... and i readily felt so thankful that he came to let me out of that sack and scolded everyone who had done such cruel punishment on me...--- just because I broke a plate or a glass can't remember it clearly now> Oh well--- Daddy passed away January 7, 1984 --- quite a long time ago. I should confess i had some misgivings in not having been able to be there in the hospital when he was checked -in and was not able to watch him over-night but it was "Ate Rosy" who did... I was then undergoing training in a Private Company in Makati as I was on probationary period, having previously resigned after almost ten years from my job at the University of the Philippines.... And was so exasperated to learn that he was dying and was just clinging on --- he waited for me to see him heave off his last breath... >>> Ahhh so sorry for that time of my being so unmindful--- DADDY---I just realize now that 's when I experienced loss in my Life... "HAPPY FATHER's Month" to You!!!

Heroes in My Life

Thinking or rather pondering about who are the heroes in my LIFE has really taken me a long time to get to some good answers… As we usually associate heroes with some great persons like our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal , and I even confuse the word to some personalities like Elvis Presley, and in our local scene in my generation the Movie Stars like Susan Roces/Amalia Fuentes, and then the SuperStar Nora Aunor and the Star of All Seasons Vilma Santos… I had managed to list the names of people I had truly met and was our “Superiors” during my ‘Working Girl” days such as our first Dean at the UP-Asian Insttitute of Tourism – Dr. Jose P.Mananzan : He then was the owner of the Pagsanjan Rapids Hotel, and BalikBayan Handicraft Stores in Malate and Makati, He also became the President/Chairman of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines, and so many other similar associations/Club … and He is the typical cosmopolite that I have rubbed elbows with so to speak as he travels anywhere to any country in the world and aside from his residence at FORBES PARK, he has built his own House or rather more fittingly, his Mansion, somewhere in Beverly Hills California USA,(though I am not sure if this location/address is right---but does it at all matter?) that he actually lives where the Hollywood legends also own real properties.. Ahhh--- everything that reflects or symbolize success, from my perspective, that is--- quite too “materialistic” you would say… But then, I would like to conjure that there is something much deeper than the materialistic--- actually even higher “source” of all that oomph and glitz which is the “Spiritual” level of the person’s Consciousness… such that … in spite of the High Status that all those materialistic possession has bestowed on him, he remains humble and condescending--- and really attributes everything that he possesses to the One Source --- the One Who is The TRUE HERO --- our Creator, Our God the Father --- personified in Flesh in the Lord Jesus Christ--- whose Birth we are celebrating with such grandeur (only here do we have such merriment of Christmas from September till January) in our beloved country, the great Catholic/Christian Nation in Asia, the Philippines…and this Archipelago in the Far East has been blessed with ‘HEROES’ in different fields/categories of ARTS, SCIENCE, SPORTS and what have you--- too numerous to mention and you in your own selves should already know who they are…
In my list I have included aside from those names I have already mentioned :
Lea Salongga( Miss Saigon Fame, as she received various awards for her achievements) Cory Quirino, [Take Note: Not Cory Aquino] who is an inspiration for me in the way she advocates a lifestyle that is Nature-Based , Holistic in approach towards maintaining Health, preserving Youth and Beauty (Physically/Spiritually) even as we age, --- OH YES, for me this Advocacy on Holistic-Nature Based Lifestyle to Maintain HEALTH /YOUTH and BEAUTY --- Physically and Spiritually is my Primal Concern… to Finally be the COMPLEAT BEING that I/We should be.

Happy Birthday to Me on A Happy EASTER Sunday

When are the times of my life that I can say I am HAPPY?

From my childhood memory, it was that time when I was having my 5th Birthday on an Easter! Yes, I can remember very well as I got up so early even before dawn, it did not take so much effort for me to get up as I almost did not sleep at all because I am so excited to wear that very nice birthday dress my Ninang bought for me. It was light green with ruffled lace trimmings on every folds on the front bodice, plus: they allowed me to wear that fine gold necklace with a heartshaped pendant with a small gold crucifix ;And so I understood that--that Easter Sunday is a special day with an angel coming down from somewhere to remove the dark veil of the Virgin Mary as she meets Jesus so Gloriously Risen! What a beautiful day to be having my
Birthday on a HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY!!!

On a deeper and more spiritual level, I would like to share this message that shows a very simple yet profound way to be really HAPPY:

"Let him who wishes to be eternally happy
know and believe that he will live after death.
Let him think of this and keep it in mind,
for it is the truth (Arcana Coelestia 8939:3)."
